Remove cards that you've become confident with to focus your attention on those problem words.
LexDex already saves hours you'd spent doing your own prep work. But we've also made life a lot more convenient for you. All our materials are online, so you won't have to download and install a program to get started, and your progress is saved as you study. Just log on to any computer connected to the internet and you're right where you left off.
Founder, Eddie Kim, was never the star pupil in his classes. Instead, he was the kid who always managed to come up with the right answer even though it seemed like he wasn't paying any attention. What he realized early on was that people studying the material weren't always studying for the tests. In other words, you could know History 101 up and down but that doesn't mean you'd get that elusive A+.
Studying and doing well in college is a lot about learning. But let's face it; it's also about grades. Eddie learned to cut corners to get to the best grade, using the most efficient study methods. And that's when he came up with LexDex. Studying well is simply about time and content, and LexDex brings you all the content from your textbooks in zero time.
LexDex launched its first public release in April of 2008 and moved on to Beta testing in September 2008. It started as a simple idea that has quickly picked up momentum, acquiring new books and subjects for the library as it continues to grow in popularity.
A Dex is short for Digital Encyclopedic X-change. Think of it as the fun, new, electronic version of your standard flash cards deck. Add a list from a chapter in your textbook or mix and match different chapters to create your own Dex.
